Join Museum astrophysicist Jackie Faherty and Director of Astrovisualization Carter Emmart for this special look at the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST). Expected to launch in late December, NASA’s JWST will become the most powerful tool for observing the universe available to scientists.
Find out about the telescope’s orbit and its placement over one million miles away from Earth and tour the exciting sites it will focus on during its first year of operation.
