The chief curator of the Gottesman Hall of Planet Earth is Edmond A. Mathez, chairman and curator of the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at the Museum. Co-curators, also from the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, include James Webster, associate curator; research scientist Rosamond Kinzler, and HoPE exhibition coordinator Heather Sloan. More than 125 scientists from around the world helped to create the Hall. The executive director of the Rose Center project is James A. Schmidt. The director of special projects for the Rose Center for Earth and Space is James S. Sweitzer.
