Astrophysics Education for Elementary and Middle Schools
INTERACTIVE SCIENCE THEATER WITH DR. NEBULA
Students in grades 1-5 will enjoy and learn from hands-on experiences and fun encounters as Dr. Nebula's apprentice, Scooter, works with them to investigate the Universe. Programs are offered for large groups (80-270) and topics include: Wind and Water; Light and Optics; and Planetary Vacation.

FIELD TRIP TO THE MOON - Coming soon in 2007
Take a virtual trip to the Moon in the immersive Hayden Planetarium. Audiences will feel the ground shake beneath them as they experience a thrilling NASA rocket launch. Guided by a live presenter, you will orbit the Earth get an astronaut's view of a sunrise in space.
Through groundbreaking scientific simulations and visualizations, you will experience a journey through the hazards of space to orbit and land on the Moon. Witness the panoramic view from the last spot that humans walked on the Moon, and be the first to see what awaits us on future missions to return to the Moon, this time to stay.
Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. in the Hayden Planetarium.
